o, just a few days after posting the request for tracks for the “Berlin Summer of 2010” podcast, I finally made good on the initial 2008 project. So, here is the set on Soundcloud:
It was recorded live with my dodgy turntable setup (useable, but not great), captured with Serato (by patching the mixer’s “monitor out” to the Serato box’s “Aux 3 in.” There’s a brief blip in there somewhere, possibly due to a latency blip or something, but otherwise the recording is fine. The sound is lower than I would’ve liked, though, so next time i’ll jack up the gain a bit…
In any case, there’s still time to submit recommendations for the Berlin Summer of 2010 set!
